Francine Arnold

Hi, Iā€™m Francine. I have had animals all my life, including many dogs. From a very young age I had dreamed of being a dog trainer. Finally, twenty-six years ago I had a very promising dog whose name was D.O.G. (Dee-o-gee) and together we started our journey on learning and competing in various dog sports. As I gained experience and knowledge in different canine sports, I became fascinated with dog behavior and learning theories. My pursuit in this education led me to a very successful career in many competition venues including protection sports, agility, formal obedience training and tracking.
With my successes I started instructing other competitors in these sports. Many of my students needed more control over their pets in order to be more successful in competitions. I found I was very good at teaching pet obedience because of all my experience and knowledge of how dogs learn. My competition dog training skills easily transferred over to pet dogs and made life much more fun for both the dogs and their owners.
I have been a full-time dog trainer for seventeen years and continue my education of dog training by attending seminars and workshops with top competitors in the country.
